Starting this weekend, Total Dutch Football.com is changing the way you bet on Dutch Football, just in time for round one of De Klassieker: PSV vs Ajax.
I have 25 years of gambling in the bank (pun intended) and over 10 years experience writing tips for fans and the media, it’s time to get back in the game, and change things up.
Over at InternationalBreak.co.uk, I’ve spent years building my own database for international football — shots from outside the box, headers on target, chances created — all from matches Opta barely touches. In preparation for the World Cup this past summer, I watched 1,653 games and taken notes on everything that the cameras showed. Even if the goal was offside, I make note. If the referee misses a foul and it should have been a card, I make note. I have data that Opta doesn’t, data that we should all be looking at if we use stats for selections.
I’ll be bringing that same approach here, even though many player markets aren’t as widely available as for Dutch football as they were during the World Cup.
However, what I can promise you is here, you’ll get value bets only. I tip bets evens or higher, nothing ever odds on, I will scour the stats and the markets making sure we get value from the bookies, if I can’t then we leave that match alone. We never force a bet for any game and we never drop below evens.
I will also track every single bets in our Profit/Loss Spreadsheet which you find at the top of the website
From this weekend, you will see match previews or betting articles featuring the following markets:
- W/D/L
- Over/Under Goals
- BTTS
- Anytime Goalscorers
- Assists
- Cards
- Bet Builders
- Long Shots
- Monster Accas
- Bet Ladders
- And of course the Dutch Double
I will always hunt down the best odds from major bookies, and at this website and our social channels will keep you updated with fresh tips. The real insight, the reasoning, the angles, the data, lives here on the website.
One word of warning… if you are following our tips… you must stick to the staking plan and stay disciplined.
If you want long‑term profit, you must control your stakes. Set up a separate betting fund, a pot if you will, which must never affect essential everyday living. Everyone’s pot is different: £50, £100, £1,000 — it doesn’t matter. What matters is sticking to the plan!
We use a simple points system. Lets say we have a £1,000 pot:
- – 1pt bet = £10 (1%)
- – 2pt bet = £20 (2%)
- – 3pt bet = £30 (3%)
- – Up to 5pt = £25 (5%)
This structure protects your balance and prevents emotional betting and here’s why the staking plan matters. Imagine you have £200:
You bet £50 and lose → down to £150
You bet £30 and lose → down to £120
You chase losses with £100 and lose → down to £20
You throw the final £20 and lose → and you’re done!
This is how balances disappear, not because of bad selections, but because of bad staking.
Follow the plan and you’ll never hit zero, even during long losing runs. Stay disciplined, protect your pot and just enjoy it.
In the coming days, we will be unveiling our first previews, our Profit and Loss spreadsheet and an exclusive Telegram group for you, the TDF readers, to get our tips first before anyone else and secure those prices.
