We begin week 8 of the Eerste divisie with a 2-2 draw between FC Emmen and Jong Ajax on Friday evening, Jong Ajax led by two goals at half time thanks to Kenny Tete and Robert Murie but the home side came out the stronger after the break and pulled one back on the 49th minute through Luis Pedro Da Silva Ferreira. Alexander Bannink then scored the equaliser for the Emmen on the 83rd minute, the match finished with a share of the spoils 2-2.

Anthony van den Hurk’s goal for FC Eindhoven was the difference between Eindhoven and VVV-Venlo in a match that either teams could have won, but FC Eindhoven won 1-0.
Although Stanley Elbers put his Helmond Sport side in the lead on the 44th minute against the Limburg side Roda JC, his side couldn’t hold on to the lead, they conceded on the 54th minute when Wiljan Pluim netted for the away side, Roda JC then went on to take the lead and all three points thanks to Rigino Cicilia.
FC Oss led by two goals after 40 minute against Telstar on Saturday evening as Jochem Jansen and Jorzolino Falkenstein netted for the home side, the visiting side pulled a goal back on the 47th minute through Toine Van Huizen but FC Oss held onto the lead and importantly took all three points.
Johan Voskamp,Denis Mahmudov and Jeremy de Nooijer scored for Sparta Rotterdam against Almere City, the three goals from Sparta went unanswered by Almere as they failed to create any clear cut opportunities through out the match, it finished 3-0 to the Rotterdam side.
Achilles 29 were one of only three teams to get a win on their travels this weekend, Achilles trashed the blue and yellow of RKC Waalwijk 0-4, goals coming from Freek Thoone,Thijs Hendriks and Kürsad Sürmeli who netted twice for the away side.
Although De Graafschap dominated possession on Sunday against table toppers NEC Nijmegen they still ended up on the wrong side of the result. NEC defeated De Graafschap 0-2, Anthony Limbombe and Kristjan Emilsson provided the goals for the away side in their two goal victory.
FC Volendam defeated MVV Maastricht 3-0, Henk Veerman opened the scoring for Volendam on the 22nd minute, Kevin Brands then double their lead just before halftime. The match was then put out of reach of MVV when Henk Veerman scored his second of the night and his sides third, Volendam ran out comfortable winners.
Jong PSV knocked five passed FC Den Bosch on Monday night, Clint Leemans,Elvio van Overbeek,Mohamed Rayhi,Aleksandar Boljevic and Jordy de Wijs were on hand to help Jong PSV take a healthy lead against Den Bosch, although the former Irish man Barry Maguire restored some pride as he converted his penalty for the away on the 76th minute, although a Den Bosch come back wasn’t on the cards and the night only got worse for the away side on the 90th minute when Elvis Kabashi received a straight card.
Shadrach Eghan,Felitciano Zschusschen and Jari Oosterwijk got their names on the score sheet as their side Jong FC Twente defeated Fortuna Sittard 3-0. Although Jong Twente were reduced to ten men on the 87th minute as Peet Bijen was shown a straight red. The defeat leaves Fortuna 19th in the table, leaving them with a lot of work to do if they want to finish in a play-off spot by the end of the season.
